A Jar of Dreams is about a young Japanese eleven-year-old girl Rinko who lives in California and wants to be like everyone else. This book many focuses on believing in yourself and following your dreams through hard work. This is a story about a Japanese family that lives in San Fransisco, California in the 1930`s. They're having problems with paying their bills. So they use their dreams and hard work to get money. This book teaches you a life lesson. It says you cannot just give up you have to stay with your dreams and hopes. You will not make money if you do things the way you do not like it, and when the book told me this I know that it's realistic fiction because things happen like that today. You should read this book because it displays history, irony, sadness, and your past that could and might happen. So if you like this kind of stuff you should read this book. It is AWESOME!
