Secrets Of My Hollywood Life

This book is about a girl named Katie who is a major star in a soap show. But all she wants is to be normal, no cameras, annoying fans, parents, and agents, just normal. She finally gets her wish when she disguises her self and goes to a normal public school with her friend a non-star. Any way, she ends up finding love in the halls of a school and really realizes the importance of accepting who she is and finds ways to have fun. This book is very satisfying and enjoyable.

Peaches

Peaches is a book 3 girls; Murphy McGowan, Leeda Crawly-Smith, and Birdie Darlington. Each of these girls are at different points in their lives. And all end up meeting each other at the Darlington Peach orchard. The orchard is where Birdie lives with her dad and their house keeper, Poopie(interesting names.). Her mom recently split, and is filing a divorce.At the same time, the orchard is going down hill, her dad is in debt, and just doesn't seem to have the time, or the money to take care of the orchard. This could be their last harvest and Birdie is determined to make sure that there is one following it for sure.
Murphy is sent to the orchard for punishment. She was caught trespassing on the orchard's property fooling around with a guy. She is angry and devastated at having to waste a spring break at a dumb peach orchard. As soon as she sees Birdie and Leeda, she thinks: Birdie- is weak, boring and a suck-up annoying person. She thinks Leeda is a total cut-out of her mom and a wannabe. The last thing Murphy expects is friends and enjoyment, and in the end that is just what she gets.
Leeda is not planning on doing anything this spring break but hanging out with her adorable boyfriend Rex. But those plans get ruined when her mom "suggests" she go to the orchard and help out her uncle Walter(Birdie's dad) at the orchard. All though that is the last thing she wants to do, she desperately wants her mother's affections, that all seem to skip her and go straight to her sister Danay, who is engaged and is all her mother lives for, so she says yes. She finds new friends, lets go of some,and realizes what a couple of weeks in a peach orchard can do to a person. This book is delightfully satisfying and very entertaining with all sorts of surprises!

Searching For David's Heart-a Christmas Story

Searching for David's heart is a heartfelt, and touching story. It is about a girl named Darcy Deeton. David is her best friend aside from her other good friend, Sam Weiss. Life in her house is tough as it is, money is tight, and Darcy is shy and quiet. Her brother David and her are best friends, and soul mates. But, David gets a new girl-friend, and starts to treat Darcy like an annoying pest that he dosen't want to hang out with. One day Darcy gets angry and it gets the best of her, she yells at her brother, then runs across the street. Her brother David, wanting to talk to her, straighten things out, runs after her, and is killed in a shocking accident. Darcy's parents decide to donate his organs to the hospital for heart transplants. Darcy is so sure that her brothers death is her fault. So, she sets out to find David's heart, thinking if she finds it, she will still have a part of her brother, even if the heart is beating in some one Else's body. With Christmas right around the corner, this book really reminds you what the season is about, a very good and satisfying book that will bring tears to your eyes and warmth to your heart.

Cinderlily

This book is actually Cinderella, but all of the characters are flowers. They are all real life flowers that were made to look like the character. This book is actually fun to read because I really like flowers and it looks really cool. Please read this book!!! *: )

The Secret Garden

This book that I just finished reading is really awsome! What happens in this book is there is this girl named mary who's parents die from a virus that travels through out her country. Then when her parents die Mary has to move England to live with her Uncle.When Mary moves to England many things happen like meeting new people, and discovering things pretty cool. To find out what it is i would recommend you to read this pretty cool book.

The Legend of Luke

Hey! I read another one of the mousey stories! Now, this story is about a mouse warrior named Martin and his father named Luke. Martin travels back to his birthplace to find out the full story of how his father had led his tribe and what had truly happened to him.  When Martin was born a slave ship had came to Luke's tribe and killed many. So The Legend of Luke is his epic story of vengence toward the evil slave master and how Luke, his 3 survivng shipmates, and a mad black squirrellmaid led the captive slaves on a ship to victory. This story is pretty gory so i would rate it a PG-13.

The Vigrinity Club

Hi! This is a new book, that will soon be available for you to read. Well, I know that a lot of you will be thinking that this is strange and gross because of its title but, i am going to fix that!!! This book is about how 4 girls are competing for a scholar ship. But, one of the requirements is that they have to be PURE, and well, they need to show how they are pure. It is a good book with some good humor, a little bit of sad, plenty of excitements, and a good dose of romance, if you are looking for something fun and enjoyable, read THE VIRGINITY CLUB.

Ginger Pye

Hi! how are you doing kalamaku members. The book that I am reading is called Ginger Pye. It is about a boy and girl that work to save up money to buy a super smart dog. They do it but another man in a yellow hat keeps stalking them and the boy and girl are scared that he might take Ginger Pye away. So they just decide to keep a look out for him. The characters in this story are Rachel Pye, Ginger Pye, Uncle Bennie (he is only 3 years old), and Jerry Pye.

Pure Dead Magic

I'v been reading this series of books by Debi Glilori. It's rather nameless, though the titles all begin with Pure Dead, unless you live in Europe, which we don't. The first one is called Pure Dead Magic. It's a fusion of Addams family, Roald Dahl, Lemony Snicket, and a tiny sprinkle of Mary Poppins. Fans of any of the above will love it.
It's about a Scottish family-Signor Luciano Strega-Borgia, Signora Baci Strega-Borgia, Titus, Pandora, baby sister Damp, griffin Sab, yeti Knot, dragon Ffup, tarantula Tarantella, rat Multitudina +babies, and cyrogenically-preserved great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother Strega Nonna. And that's not including the help. Luciano has vanished, baby Damp has disappeared into the computer, and Baci is going crazy with her classes in wizardry. New nanny Flora McLachlan will have to save the day.

He has a hearing with the ministry because he is not allowed to use his magic out side of school because of the law. When he is at the hearing he meets a women in the ministry named Dolores Umbridge. He did not know that he would soon be calling her Professor. When he goes to school he has a hard time because he loses his temper and get detention for the whole week. Then he has to write lines. He uses no ordinary quill. Professor Umbridge gives him a special quill that uses blood instead of ink. Well i am about that far so i will update later.
