The book the lightning thief is about a boy who is in the sixth grade and finds out that he is a half-blood (demigod). He has to go on a wild ride to get to camp half-blood. His friend turns out to be a goat and he makes a new friend Annabeth. He is finds out that his father is a god and that he has to go on a quest to save the world from the next WW [world war]. He makes friends and enemies along the way. Oh and his Latin teacher is a Chentuar. He is tested on how well he know his greek mythology. Read the book to see what he does at camp-halfblood.
