The Shamer's Daughter

The Shamer's Daughter is the first book in The Shamer's Chronicles (1.The Shamer's Daughter, 2.The Shamer's Signet, 3.The Serpent Gift, 4.The Shamer's War). This book is a "must read" book and once you start you might not be able to stop till you reach the end. I hope that anyone who reads this book will enjoy it as much as I did. :-)

The Daughters of the moon series

I think the daughters of the moon series is great. Its about four girls; Vanessa, Catty, Serena, and Jimena and they all have a special secret. Vanessa can become invisible, Catty goes back and fourth into the future, Serena reads minds and Jimena has premonitions. The series is great and if you like romance, comedy, and action this is the book for you!

A Song of Ice and Fire

This series by George R. R. Martin is the best! It's about royals that lived in a fantasy world, and how they all live just to live or, in some cases, to rule. It's a really interesting series, because each person in the books have different stories from different points of view. If you like war, fantasy, secrets, and romance these are the books for you!

Little Women

This story that im reading is about grown- up Meg, tomboyish Jo, timid Beth, and precocious Amy- the four March sisters could not be anymore differrent. But with there father away at war and their mother working to support the family, they have to depend on each other while there mother and father are busy doing things very important for the family. Wether they are putting on a play, planning a secret Society, or celebrating there holidays there #1 thing they always think about is: Will there father come home safly from the war... read the book and find out.

Sister Hood Of The Traveling Pants

Hello everyone!

The Sister Hood of The Traveling Pants is a story about 4 best friends who are going away on their first summer apart. They are really worried about leaving each other, but a shared pair of pants help to keep them all together. They believe that these pants are magic and so with the magic pants, there are rules that go along with them. Here are the rules:

1- You must NEVER wash the pants.

2- You must never double cuff the Pants. It's tacky. There will never be a time when this will not be tacky.

3- You must never say the word"phat" while wearing the Pants. You must also never think to your self "I am fat" while wearing the pants.

4- You must never let a boy take off the pants (although you may take them off yourself in his presence).

5- You must not pick your nose while wearing the Pants. You may scratch your nose casually while really kind of picking.

6- Upon our reunion, you must follow proper procedures for documenting your time in the pants:

-on the left leg of pants, write the most exciting place that you have been while wearing the pants.

-on the right leg of the pants you must exciting thing that happend to you while wearig the pants. for example( "I hooked up with my cousin Ivan while wearng the pants. ")

7- you must write to your sisters through out the summer, no matter how much fun you may be having with out them.

8- You must pass the pants on to your sisters according to the spcifications set down by the sisterhood. failure to comply will result in a severe spanking upon our reunion.

9- you must not wear the pants with a tucked-in shirt and belt. see rule #2

10-Remember: pants = love. love your pals love yourself.

lot of rules, but hey that is the sisterhood. these books were really good. so try them enjoy them love them, if you are in to that sort of romace thing.

This book is from a sieres called, Hawai'i Chillers. It takes place on O`ahu and Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park. The main characters are Mark and Malia. Mark was the pilau one and Malia was the decision maker. It all happened on a trip to Hawai`i Island. The `ohana went to the Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park also known as the home of Pele: the goddess of FIRE! The Black Tatoo

The Black Tattoo, by Sam Enthoven, is about a man named Charlie that is asked to join a secret society that is in charge of keeping a demon called the Scroge in captivity. The Scroge gets loose and posses one of the secret society's member. The new leader of the society has to train Charlie and Jack. Jack is Charlie's best friend that tags along with Charlie. The society only wanted Charlie but Charlie said that if they didn't let Jack come along, he wouldn't go. After coming in contact with the Scroge, Charlie and Esma excelled their level in their training. They are now one step closer to defeating the Scroge.

Missionary's Ghost

This book took place in the Old Lahaina Inn of room 13, I thought Missionary's Ghost was a very chilling and exciting book to read. When you get more into this book the missionary ghost is evil and needs Nani and Kimo's help which are the kids that are staying in room 13. But the twist is that the missionary doesn't want eternal peace, the ghost wants revenge... I definitely recommend this book if you like scary Hawai'i stories.This would be a really good Fall Break or even Summer book to read!

Gate Keepers

Nightrise is a book about a pair of twins with powers. That's all I know because I didn't read it yet. Nightrise is the third book of a series called The Gate Keepers or The Power of Five. I read the first two and they are awesome!!! The first book follows a boy named Matt, who learns that he is one of 5 kids who have powers to close these gate things. The second book still follows Matt, but he travels to Peru from England to find the second gate keeper, whose name is Pedro. Matt has a kind of power that only activates when he can smell something burning. Pedro can heal someone just by being near them. For people who like books about adventure, suspense, and fantasy, the Gate Keepers series is right for you. The first book is called Raven's Gate, the second is Evil Star, and the third - which I am about to read - is Nightrise. You should read it. IT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Old Magic

Old Magic is a great book!!! The author is Marianne Curley. If you like books that have adventure, romance, and magic, this is the perfect book to read. It talks about a girl, Kate warren, who's raised my her grandmother and they are witches(the good kind). Then in her class a new boy, Jarrod Thornton, comes along and she finds that he also has powers, but he doesn't know it. Kate finds that Jarrod's family is cursed and helps him. This is the best book ever. Try to read it. Enjoy!!

Twilight

This book is AWESOME!!!! It's about a girl who is attracted to this boy at school, who everyone says that he won't like her. But, he likes her back! Then, she finds out a dark secret about him. Will she tell his secret? Find out by reading Twilight!

This book was about Erogon after the first book after the moive. Its about Erogo go to live with the Elvis and Trainging with a old dgrogon rider. To get better at magic,.. I really liked this book!!!

A Series of Unfortunate Events

A series of unfortunate events is my favorite because it has unusual settings and secrets. The characters are very young and the oldest is under 20. This book was very exciting.

Icefire

This is a great book for people who belive in Dragons. Other books that are related to this book are called "The Fire Withen" And "Firestar".

Trickster's Choice

Trickster's Choice is yet another Tortall book by Tamora Pierce. It's about Alianne, Alanna the Lioness's daughter, who is captured by pirates and sold as a slave. She meets the trickster god, Kyprioth, the former patron god of the Copper Isles, which were stolen by the luarin from the raka, assisted by the luarin god, Mithros and the Great Mother. The family Aly is sold to contains the two twice-royal daughters, who are both raka and luarin. The household is also managed by a few rebel leaders who want to win the Copper Isles back for the raka. Aly is asked to protect the children of the household until winter comes. To protect the children and go back home, Aly needs to work with the rebels and their patron god.

Darkness Rising

The darkness rising is a very good book; i wanted to read this book because it was comming out in theaters. Will Stanton is an 11 year old boy who discovers he has powers in which he can control light. He soon discovers that he is the last of a group that fights the evil.... It is called the darkness. About his magical journey... Well your'e going to have to read the book to find out.

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban is a the third book of the Harry Potter series. It is the young Harry's third year at the magical school of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry's god father Sirius Black escapes for the wizard prison Azkaban and comes after harry when he is at school. Dementors which are the guards of Azkaban are stationed at all of the entrances of the school. When you are near them it is like all happiness is sucked out of the earth. Harry uncovers the truth about the betrayal of his parents friend Wormtail. Whom is responsible for his parents murders. Harry concures the potronus charm and saves his god fathers life. I am not going to tell you detail so you will have to read it to enter the magical world. BUT you have to read the first 2 books or you might not get some parts.

The Daughters of the Moon

Hey book peeps! So at the moment I'm really into fantasy "slash" horror books. When I was in Borders at the beginning of this summer, I saw this really cool looking book out of the corner of my eye. I picked it up, and the title was The Daughters of the Moon. It's a series about four girls, Vanessa, Catty, Serena, and Jimena, who are desendence of the goddess of the moon. They each have a special power to help them to defeat the Atrox and its Followers. The Atrox is kind of like the darkness in the movie Twitches (I hope that I'm not confusing you guys if you haven't seen the movie). The Atrox's main goal is to defeat the daughters of the moon and to rule the world!! I believe this is a must read series for all fantasy lovers!!

The Golden Compass

So. I was at the movie theater, when I saw the previews for the Golden Compass. I thought it looked interesting, so I decided I should read the book before I watched the movie right? Well, the book was so interesting! It had a very confusing plot line, but it was entertaining! It starts off with Lyra and her daemon, Pan, sneaking in to a room that they weren't allowed in. They see the Master put poison into Lord Asriel's Tokay, so they tell him when he comes in. This catapults them into an adventure they've never known, and the destiny they do not know they will have to face. Read it! It's awesome!!

Pride and Prejudice

I'm reading this book called Pride and Prejudice. It was written in 1813 in England, so it's really kind of old and Britishy. It's funny, in a British way, and it's really kind of romantic at some points. It features things that we wouldn't think of today, like when Elizabeth Bennet stays all week in her sister's room because she has a bad cold. People want other people to go to balls, and associate with each other there, everyone's sole purpose is to find a husband or wife, and they have very long, complex conversations and arguments. It can be hard to follow, but it really is a good book.
